Floof Doof Terms and Conditions

1. Entry Requirements:

1.1. You must be at least 18 years old to attend the ‘Floof Doof New Year’s Event’ in-person. Valid government-issued identification with a photo and date of birth will be required for entry by the venue’s security.

1.2. Agree to follow the directions and instructions provided by Floof Doof’s staff, volunteers, and the venue’s staff during the event. These directions are intended to ensure the safety, enjoyment, and overall success of the event.

1.3. All attendees are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner towards others. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior including but not limited to harassment, violence or other antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and offenders may be asked to leave the event without a refund

2. Dress Code:

2.1. Please ensure that your attire is respectful and appropriate for a public setting. Costumes or fursuits that feature overly revealing features or would be deemed inappropriate for a public setting are not allowed.

2.2. Nudity or Explicit Attire: Nudity, overly revealing clothing is not allowed. While creative and expressive attire is encouraged, all attendees are expected to maintain a level of modesty and respect for others. Revealing or explicit clothing that goes beyond the bounds of decency is not allowed or accepted at Floof Doof.

2.3. Offensive Symbols: Attire featuring symbols or imagery that promotes hate, discrimination, or harm to any group is strictly prohibited.

2.4. Safety Concerns: Any attire that could pose a safety risk to the wearer or others, such as oversized props that obstruct visibility, weapon props or hazardous items are not allowed. Floof Doof reserves the right to request the removal of any such attire unless it comes into conflict with Dress Code condition 2.1 or 2.2.

3. Behavior, Respect and Consent:

3.1. Attendees should always respect personal boundaries and consent when interacting with others. If someone is in a suit or costume it is not consent to touch or hug the person, please be respectful of boundaries and ensure to ask and clarify beforehand.

3.2. Harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event and/or ban from future Floof Doof events. This includes but is not limited to discrimination, harassment or violence against others based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age, disability, religion or nationality. 

4. Prohibited Items:

4.1. The following items are strictly prohibited at the event: weapons, illegal substances, outside food or drinks, glass containers, and any other items deemed hazardous or disruptive by event staff. Any such items may be confiscated by Floof Doof staff where they may be disposed of, surrendered to appropriate authorities or returned at the conclusion of the event. Floof Doof staff are not responsible for any such items.

5. Alcohol Policy:

5.1. The sale and consumption of alcohol are subject to the venue licensing and regulations. Attendees are expected to drink responsibly. Intoxicated individuals may be denied entry or asked to leave the event without refund. 

6. Health and Safety:

6.1. Attendees should follow all health and safety guidelines provided by event staff and venue staff on the day, including those related to COVID-19, if applicable.

6.2. If you feel unwell, exhibit symptoms of illness, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for a contagious disease, please stay home and seek medical advice. 

6.3. Floof Doof is not responsible for the health and wellbeing of its attendees. Floof Doof and staff will do everything in its power to ensure the health and safety of attendees but the attendees are ultimately responsible for their own health and safety

7. Liability and Responsibility:

7.1. Floof Doof Inc. including it’s staff, volunteers, stakeholders and the venue are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the event.

7.2. Attendees assume all risks and responsibilities associated with their attendance at the event, including any injury or harm that may occur.

8. Photography and Recording:

8.1. Photography and recording may be permitted at the event, subject to the discretion of Floof Doof and the venue. Floof Doof reserves the right to refuse any photography taken without consent at Floof Doof events.

8.2. Attendees must respect the privacy and consent of others when taking photos or videos and consent must be obtained by all parties. Floof Doof is not responsible for photos taken by any individual not contracted by Floof Doof for photography.

8.3. Any recordings or photos taken at the event are for personal use only and any media related or professional/business related photography or recordings are required to be approved by Floof Doof staff.

8.4. Floof Doof occasionally captures photos and records events for promotional purposes and live streams on external platforms such as Twitch and Virtual Reality. While we make every effort to respect attendee privacy, we kindly request that you exercise awareness and discretion to avoid being inadvertently included in photos or recordings if you prefer not to be featured.

9. Event Cancellation or Changes:

9.1. Floof Doof reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or make changes to the event for any reason, including but not limited to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, venue concerns or government regulations. In such cases, refunds or alternative arrangements may be provided at the discretion of Floof Doof.

9.2. By purchasing a ticket and attending the Floof Doof New Year’s Event, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in your removal from the event without a refund.

9.3. Tickets can be refunded up to 14 days before the event pertaining to the purchased ticket, however any amount subject to transaction fees will not be refunded. Please email events@floofdoof.com if you require more information.

9.4. Please note that these terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. It is advisable to review Floof Doof Terms and Conditions before attending any event run by Floof Doof.

10. Privacy

10.1. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. By registering for a Floof Doof event, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purpose of keeping you informed for the respective Floof Doof events and any future Floof Doof events.

10.2. Your information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and NSW regulations. We will only use your data to provide Floof Doof event-related updates and information.
